The Collection

A video work in which games are played with classic portraiture conventions. It is an attempt to analyse the modern media-filtered method of communicating with each other. In a series of portraits, the artist attempts to refer to the phenomenon of avatars which functions in media culture. In the same way, the project may encourage thoughts about the simulation of human experiences.
 

Filip Gabriel Pudło (b. 1976, Ryki)
Graduated from the University of Warsaw, and is a student of the Faculty of Camerawork at the National Film School in Łódź. He uses photography and creates video works. He lives and works in Warsaw.
