This KLĄTWA will be hosted by DJ Scosco from Zimbabwe and Krakow’s omnivore Jan Moss. We will start at 9:00 PM with a relaxing amapiano set from South Africa and gradually heat up the atmosphere with contemporary hits of Nigerian and Pan-African afrobeats loved by millions. At the darkest hour of the night, it will be time for heavier electronics and turbofolk from the underground scenes of Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya. A deep dive, no shade.
DJ SCOSCO is a talent born and raised in Zimbabwe, who has honed his craft in Poland, where he is currently based. With a wide range of experience in various genres such as Afrobeat, Afrohouse, Amapiano, R&B, Hip Hop, and Dancehall, DJ Scosco brings a unique and diverse sound to his audience, keeping the party on fire wherever he goes.
JAN MOSS is a visual artist whose main tools of trade are moving images, sculpture and sound. He creates music videos, most often for the Ugandan record label Nyege Nyege Tapes. Don’t miss the screening of his film “Singeli Movement: Greed for Speed” on Sunday as part of Krakow Photomonth.
