From today until the end of April, you can apply to volunteer at the 23rd edition of Kraków Photomonth and co-create the festival with us! We invite people interested in photography, visual arts, and culture, as well as those who would like to become part of an international event and see how it comes together from the inside.
Each edition of the festival is a complex, multi-stage process involving a large team. Volunteering is an important part of it — it is through this collective effort that the programme can be realised and the festival can run day by day. We offer opportunities to get involved in various areas — from production support and exhibition installation, through communication and media activities, to event assistance and working with the Festival Office. Taking part in the volunteer programme is a chance to gain experience in organising an international cultural event, as well as to engage directly with artists and art professionals from different parts of the world.
This year’s edition, “Unreal Estate”, brings unique opportunities — with a strong focus on partnerships, special events within the main programme, and collaborations with artists and institutions from around the world.

Krakow Photomonth is organized by the Foundaion for the Visual Arts and has been held as a biennial since 2022.
The event is co-funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund – a state-run special-purpose fund. The project is also co-funded by the Municipality of Krakow, the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation, and the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) of the Federal Republic of Germany.
